Since a young age Kerry has always enjoyed movement and exercise in various forms, including dance. After spending many years pursuing high intensity exercise to de-stress from demanding jobs, but finding it was making the situation worse, Kerry discovered yoga and felt instantly at home. Kerry started her yoga journey at just 19 years old with a hot yoga class, which left her challenged but completely relaxed at the same time- exactly what she had been looking for- she was instantly hooked and continued to dedicate many hours a week to the physical practice. After a little while enjoying this physical asana practice, Kerry was starting to notice the huge mental benefits- with each and every class she became more at ease, happier and her whole outlook on life was improved. In 2014 Kerry found the confidence to embark on something she had always dreamed of and undertook a 200 hour teacher training programme. But the learning of course doesn't end there, Kerry regularly attends a variety of workshops and training days for teachers in differing styles of yoga so she can continue to share her knowledge with her students.

Yin yoga is a very gentle style of yoga, ideal for people new to the practice, looking to return after injury or simply to relax and de-stress. Postures, which are mostly floor based, are held for around 3-5 minutes with the practice focusing a lot on finding stillness. In each class we will also include various breathing techniques, meditation and class always ends with a beautifully long relaxation.  Kerry is currently on maternity leave.
