KIMBERLEY WARWICK BSc (hons) Ad Dip Sports Fitness,
I started my fitness career back in 2005, when I studied an Advanced Diploma in Sports and Fitness therapy, Injury Activity Management, and Sports Massage Therapy. While studying at South Devon College I also became a Gym instructor though the World Amateur Body Building Association (WABBA). After leaving College I decided to study a Degree in Psychology at Derby University, which I finally completed in 2009, and I also started working at Champney’s Health Spa and was taught by Alan Herdman in Pilates Mat Work Techniques. While at Champneys I also taught Fitness Cycle classes, aquafit, stretch and relax and held Fitness Bootcamps and Weight Loss weekends. After leaving Champney’s I started freelance Pilates and fitness instructor in Warwick, expanding to Leamington, Hampton Magna, Dunchurch and Coventry, working with small groups of all levels, ages and abilities as well as one to one personal training. in 2014 I became Krav Maga instructor specialising in teaching women self defence techniques and fitness, currently doing classes in Coventry and undertaking short term courses for the Warwickshire Racial Equality Partnership (WREP). I have started a Masters in Health Psychology, also at Derby University and am a serving Special Constable in Warwickshire Police.
